My mother is very tolerant of his hobby and she just lets him get on with it for the main part as he is a good husband to her in so many ways. However, the other day there was an incident that really got my mother angry. She came home from her job as a nurse which is really stressful and the drive was just full of
Vectra Spares. The place looked such a mess and there was no way she could get her car on the drive at all. When she spoke to my father about it, he added insult to injury by saying he would remove them but they were still there the next morning when she awoke. This was when my mother gave vent to her anger and she really shouted at him, telling him how inconsiderate he was. My father was shocked at her outburst but it really did the trick and he moved everything immediately. Not only that, he bought her a present and took her out to dinner that weekend to make up for it. Thank goodness that harmony is now restored at home.
